Terms of Service

1. Services Included

Vertex Web provides static website design, managed hosting, and ongoing maintenance. This package is for brochure-style and information websites only.

2. Subscription and Pricing

The service is billed month to month. The first month is charged at R200 as a trial-style onboarding month. From month two onward, the fee is R400 per month.

3. Scope Limitations

This package does not include ecommerce websites, complex web applications, custom backend systems, or any feature that requires advanced server-side development.

4. Marketing and Listings Exclusions

The package does not include advertising services and does not include setup or management of your Google Business Profile listing. Vertex Web focuses on building, hosting, and managing your website.

5. Domain Ownership

Your domain remains yours. After your first paid month, the domain is treated as client-owned and can be transferred to your preferred registrar on request.

6. Code Access and Handover

Full website source code handover is available once at least four full subscription months have been completed and the account is in good standing.

7. Payments and Late Accounts

Invoices are due monthly. If payment is late, Vertex Web may pause updates or hosting after reasonable notice until the account is brought up to date.

8. Termination

Either party may end the service with written notice. On cancellation, we can assist with reasonable transfer steps for domain and website files based on account status.

9. Delivery Expectations

Once your intake brief and required content are submitted, the first design concept is typically delivered within 1-3 working days.
